Oh yes, thanks. I am sometimes a little confused over Aldor release
numbers... sorry.

So I agree with you: What is the point of linking an older binary
version of Aldor released prior to it's availability as "open source"
to FriCAS? At this stage I think it is important to build both Aldor
and FriCAS from source so that we have an opportunity to report and
fix problems. Reports of problems with older versions of Aldor are
unlikely to be resolved.
